Howdy from Houston! It's our penultimate day here :(( We had a very exciting day today, one full of lots of surprises. We woke up to the bright sun and blue skies and headed over to the space center. Then we tested our heat shields that protected our 'eggstranaut' with a propane flame. Let's just say it got heated! After that we tested our cryogenic marshmanaut; covering it in liquid nitrogen- it was so mesmerising! After lunch, we headed over to Williams indoor pool to do scuba diving! We had all been looking forward to it all day and to actually be there and see all the equipment was very nerve-wrecking but exciting at the same time. We completed many challenges and activities underwater such as collecting asteroids to determine whether a planet was habitable or not and controlling underwater robots to read data. After a nice warm shower, we headed back to the hotel and had some time to pack our bags before heading out to Chuys tex-mex restaurant. There were many mexican dishes for us to eat including tacos, enchiladas and nachos. Following was a cake called 'tres leches'- it was so delicious. We have had such an amazing time this week and we are all getting packed and ready for our graduation ceremony tomorrow and eventually sadly going home. Bye for now!
